Bonaire is well known as THE first class destination for
shore diving worldwide, besides that there are also some great
land activities
and
water activities
for the days you take a break from diving or on your last day before the flight. In this article we want to share with you our favorite restaurants of the island. We are not talking about the big famous restaurants, we mean the little gems.
One of our all time favorites is this cozy little restaurant. Chef Robert prepares all dishes himself and uses traditional Jamaican recipes. You can taste the famous jerk chicken, bbq ribs, local fish specialities, caribbean soups, vegetarian & vegan dishes, jamaican patties, and the famous jamaican hot sauce.
You sure can't miss out on local food when visiting Bonaire. Our favorite spot is on the way back from the northern dive sites passing by Gotomeer to watch the flamingos, just at the entrance of Rincon you will find Posada Mira which not only serves great local food, but it also is located on top of a hill offering a great view while you enjoy your food.
This small restaurant serves typical Colombian food in a cozy atmosphere with always an amazing fresh soup or a daily catch of the day.
Mezze is a Middle Eastern restaurant,
The specialty of this restaurant are all the yummy small dishes that can be shared, that way you can try so much more items off the menu.
